Hey Grace family, here is Hunter's support letter for his upcoming trip to South Africa. Dear friends and family, I wanted to send another newsletter update going into further details on the missions trip I am leading into South Africa! The time has come and our budget is all set and our tickets are purchased! My team of myself and 11 others leave for South Africa in September 22nd!! And boy are we excited! During our time in South Africa we will be staying mainly in Cape Town and then for around 15-20 days in the Eastern Cape. Ministry wise in Cape Town the opportunities are endless! Our main focuses though will be: interceding for and doing street evangelism in townships, prison ministry, staffing and running a prayer room in the townships, orphanages, working with kids youth ministries, and train ministry! Ministry wise in the Eastern Cape will look a little different as this are in South Africa is much more rural and village like! But the ministries we will be focusing on are: working with kids (teaching them English), presenting dramas/testimonies in the schools daily, hospital ministry, door to door evangelism, prison ministry, and working on farms and building houses! Prayer request time!! As a team and for the nation of South Africa we are in dire need of prayer to fulfill God’s plan for us. Prayer request for Team South Africa: team unity, finances, God’s heart for the nation, and safety! Prayer requests for the nation of South Africa: upcoming political election, crime rates to slow down, the senseless killing of women, gangsterism, shootings, and road side bombs (land mines). In order to carry out God’s plan for me I am still in need of some fundraising. God has never failed me before and has always provided. So I know he will provide for me but I am in need of roughly $3,000 by August 30th. Through prayer and fasting God has spoken to me on each amen every person this letter needs to go out to! So I please ask that you would pray and ask the Lord if you are supposed to partner up and help support me on this trip to South Africa! Together we can help restore God’s people and being them back to their Heavenly Father!
